Her hair is usually threw up messily for that special look, or just let to hang down and sway in the wind. She has a small, petite figure, with wonderful curves. Looking at Brooklyn one would probably assume she was just an average teenager who adores music and who's current goal is to be as different as can be. This would possibly be the biggest mistake anyone could possibly make. Her slightly out there appearance gives nothing but shock to people who find that she is not half as arrogant as that bright hair would suggest but is in fact quite the shy little soul. Although the girl is quite possibly so painfully shy she curses herself for it, that doesn't affect her social abilities. Brooklyn proves herself to be one of those people who likes to hide her insecurities to the best of her abilities. So, in actual fact she would appear at face value to be quite the sweet little charmer. With quick wit and clear overuse of sarcasm she may seem to have bundles of confidence, that is until the right buttons are pressed of course.
Certain questions asked will cause a distinct change in her attitude. She will become guarded of any personal information if she feels those around her are trying to probe within her mind. Her views on herself would be that she was just a little different and so why on earth would people wish to know about her past, her emotions? This causes a clear problem as if taken too far it can quite literally spark the spunky little anger streak this girl has. Brooklyn doesn't scratch or bite when annoyed, if harsh words fail her she will full on hit someone or search for the sharpest tool around to jam under someone's flesh. Violent to say the least her past is to blame for this. Her protective nature over herself, trying to preserve her own thoughts it clearly just immense. Brooklyn though will always be happy to share her favorite color or which bands she is currently worshiping. Anything much deeper will cause her to clam up.
She may not be the strongest of people but that doesn't stop this girl from being a little on the rough side. Her rash thinking lands her in all sorts of trouble. Any fights that are won are often down to how quick she it, although suprisingly strong for such a tiny form it still doesn't compare to many and so she has to trust her quick reactions and agility. This sarcasm gets her nowhere and she is anything but a door mat. Highly opinionated yet she will very often be understanding to other people's opinions. She doesn't get physical without often having good reason to be. Or just being in a bad mood, either one she sees as good enough reason to be mean. Her moods to say the least are not at all under her control. If she's angry she will show it however this flaw is made up for by the sheer talent she has for hiding any of the more intimate emotions. If she is hurt, upset or just lacking in much desires affection you will not know. The only giveaway are her eyes, their bright emerald shade become somewhat hollow if a lie is told. Still, at least her nose doesn't grow, that would be even harder to hide so she has a few things to be grateful for.
Another important aspect of Brooklyn's personality is how naive she may come across. The girl will often amuse others by saying something without even taking note of how easily it could be twisted. To give this illusion of innocence is also that highly affectionate angle to her. A girl who enjoys physical affection no matter how innocent or not it is though most of the time it is perfectly innocent. Any chance to be close to those she cares for and she will quite easily take it. A good reason that those who know her would probably not trust her enough to have a relationship.
So, she may act at times like a five year old after eating too many skittles but all in all she's just your average sweet little teenager who may have over indulged in a few areas of her life. Especially the drinking aspect.
I'm From Here!
Birthplace:: London
Parents:: Collin and Janine Edgecomb
Siblings:: None
Children:: Adults Only
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins Ect.:: Nope
History:: The history of Brooklyn begins on a snowy evening in London on December 11th. Janine Edgecomb was sitting in the living room, quite alone for such a cold evening, by the fire place. Collin, her husband, had ran out to take care of some "wizard" buisness. She was a muggle as they wizarding world called non-magic folk, and her husband was very much a wizard. She never had a problem with it, until it started to call him away from the house more and more during her pregnancy. To her dismay that night, her water happened to break, she screamed for help, until finally the neighbor had heard her and came to see if everything was okay. On seeing Janine in labor, the neighbor quickly called for paramedics, who came immediatley, and delivered the birth of a baby girl named Brooklyn. Collin came home later that night, or closer to early the next morning, to find a sweet baby girl laying in the crib by the fireplace all snuggled in a warm pink fuzzy blanket, and his wife curled up on the couch snuggled under a warm blanket sent to her by her mother who lives back to Brooklyn in the United States, hench the meaning of her name.
Brooklyn was pretty much single-handedly raised by her mother, as her father kept disappearing for days or weeks without any sign of life. She never knew her fathers touch, or even remebered seeing pictures of them when she was a baby together. At the age of three years old, Brooklyn discovered her magical abilities at preschool when she was coloring. She had set down her crayons for a brief moment as she ran to the bathroom, when she came back, some of the boys in the class had came and tore up her picture she had planned on giving to her father. It was of him and her playing in the park. Anger swelled up inside of her, as she thought about one of them flying across the room, and before she knew it as she pointed at him to tell the teacher, he went flying into the wall. Good thing nobody but the kids saw, for she wouldn't have known how to explain such an event.
After the incident, she was known as a freak in her muggle schooling and neighborhood. It took her forever to want to even return to school after that day. And the only reason she wanted to was when she was eleven years old and her acceptance letter to Hogwarts came by owl. She swelled with pride and pranced around the town, not letting the stares bother her from the kids her age as she was about to leave.
Finally on the Hogwarts express her life took a great turn. She became liked, and known. Students didn't fear her, they embraced her. They came running to her, they came to talk to her. Everything seemed right in the world except the absence of her father. After hearing all he friends talk about their parents, she realized how bad she was actually hurt by him.
And so for five years she went, as she turned against her own father. She was dragged to the dark side of the war, although she didn't want to be, but her father made her. And now as she is entering her sixth year at the school, she is in hopes of making even more friends, escaping her fathers clutches, as well as possibly finding someone to really love her.

Other Stuff
RP Sample:: Kaylee had been awake for, say an hour now and had finally gotten her bearings for the day. Pupils usually surrounded in a vast expansion of emerald green now almost drowned the green of her eyes out. The black centers of her eyes were rather expanded due to the sheer amount of coffee and sugar she had just taken in. There was nothing like a cup of coffee and a few pop tarts to start of such a brilliant day. The only issue was that is was a Saturday, on these days her entire family were home which of course was just fantastic, if you liked to be drowned in noise and shouting children. Oddly enough, the almost childlike looking girl wasn't in fact overly keen on children. They gave her shivers and made her paranoid as hell. You never knew what they were thinking, probably wandering why the hell you were talking to them like they were idiots. As for her childhood, she even disliked herself as a child. Still just as immature she was now less destructive and oddly enough got in trouble with the police that little bit less.
No matter how much Kaylee wanted to kid herself, her recent good behavior and not acting out was not all down to her growing up. Her current family were in fact rather new, to her at least. She was still trying to keep on their good side to some extent but how long that would last she wasn't sure. If she could maybe get some decent grades and keep out of trouble there was hope yet. So far the entire being good plan wasn't exactly going well, she had yet to get a single good grade outside the subjects of art and music. Kaylee was good in gym, really good or at least she could be. Agile and athletic with bundles of energy it seemed her perfect subject but she really wasn't all that comfortable with the people she would be around if she decided to show up for that class. All those darn preps squashed into one place, surely it would have some effect on her. If not she would simply come out looking an idiot somehow.
Out of bed and well and truly awake at 2pm, it was pretty good going for the late riser, considering she always went to bed early in the morning. It was pure habit, like a vampire she liked to be awake more in the night, it was just such a better atmosphere, and all the strange people came out. Those who often amused her.
The first call of the day included hunting for a few new cds to amuse herself with. Her entire collection was stupidly large, the girl lived partially for music and the other half was sheerly for finding amusements and causing havoc wherever she could. Walking into the music shop, a slight smile drifted over her features, she probably spent more time in here than some of the staff. A friendly greeting in a smile to the person behind the counter before her direction of interest turned straight towards the shelves of records that lined the walls. Flicking through random discs her attention turned towards the door as another figure walked in though it was short lived before she picked up an album to peer at.
Her dress as always was pretty simple yet effective. Her pants fitted her legs like a second skin, bright red in color to match that vibrant hair of hers. Her top consisted of a simple band t, black to tone down the red and with a simple 'set your goals' design on it. Kaylee's shoes were just some old nike trainers she had thrown on her feet. Simple enough
